Mass. Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty

CONCORD, NH — A Massachusetts man will be sentenced in late June after pleading guilty today on drug trafficking charges. John Jacome, 35, of Lawrence, MA, pleaded guilty on March 20, 2018, to four counts of four counts of distributing Oxycodone and one count of possession of Oxycodone with the intent to distribute. On four occasions, from January to May 2017, Jacome sold pills to undercover DEA agents in Kingston.
Jacome was arrested by the New Hampshire State Police on June 19, 2017, after a traffic stop. At the time, he was in possession of 500 Oxycodone pills. During his time dealing the drug, he was in possession of more than 1,500 pills.
“The aggressive investigation and prosecution of individuals engaged in opiate pill trafficking in New Hampshire remains a top priority of the United States Attorney’s Office and our law enforcement partners at the local, state and federal level,” said U.S. Attorney Scott Murray in a statement. “The United States Attorney’s Office will continue to work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to prosecute those who are responsible for distributing these dangerous drugs in our state.”

According to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, Jacome was arrested in April 2014, on trafficking heroin and other charges.
