Massachusetts Woman Arrested On Second DUI Charge
Tasha Nolan, who had a suspended license due to a prior drunken driving incident, is accused of driving very slowly on Hooksett Road.

HOOKSETT, NH — A woman with a previous drunken driving conviction was arrested again this week after an early morning traffic stop on Hooksett Road. At just before 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, an officer saw a vehicle stopped in the parking lot of the Shooter's Outpost. The vehicle, a Scion, later pulled out onto Hooksett Road, heading south, but was driving at a very slow speed.
"The vehicle proceeded to drive 15 mph in a 35 mph zone for some time," said Sgt. Joseph Ducharme of the Hooksett Police Department to the vehicle was pulled over.
The officer accused the driver – Tasha Nolan, 21, of Dracut, Massachusetts – of showing "signs of impairment." She was asked to take a field sobriety test, agreed to take it, and was arrested afterward. A check of Nolan found that her license was suspended after a DUI conviction and an alcohol ignition interlock device was required to be installed in any vehicle she was driving.

"The vehicle she was operating did not comply with this requirement," Ducharme said. "Nolan was transported to the Hooksett Police Department where she was asked to submit to a breath test, which she refused."
Nolan was charged on July 25, 2019, with driving under the influence-subsequent, operating after suspension for DUI, and alcohol ignition interlock circumvention. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 13.

Nolan, who was living in Chichester at the time, was arrested in May by the New Hampshire State Police on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge and motor vehicle not equipped with interlock device violation after a stop on I-89 in Sutton. Her license was suspended by the department of motor vehicles in February.
