Missing Woman Found Passed Away in Concord Park

Tina Russell, 39, of Concord was found in White Park earlier today.

The woman found passed away in White Park has been positively identified as Tina Russell, 39, of Rumford Street in Concord, according to police.

At around 3:15 p.m. on July 31, 2015, Concord Police were called to a wooded area behind the playground of White Park for a report of an unconscious female, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit.

The arriving officers determined that the female in question was deceased and later, identified her as Russell. A medical examiner from the NH Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene.

“Tina had previously been sought by Concord PD as a missing person,” O’Malley noted in a press statement. ”Initial indications do not lead police to believe the death is the result of foul play. However, the actual cause of death has not been determined at this time.”

Russell was last seen around 1 p.m. on July 30, when she left her home on Rumford Street, on foot, according to family members.

O’Malley stated that the case was an open investigation and the police are asking that anyone with information about this matter please call them at 603-225-8600.
