A Moose Loose In Concord? Yes, In The South End. It Was Caught On A Ring Camera: Watch
Residents reported seeing a baby moose Sunday morning roaming around the capital city on South, Pleasant, South Fruit, and School streets.

CONCORD, NH — A baby moose was caught on a Ring camera, in the backyard of a South End residence Sunday morning.
The moose appeared to be trying to find a way out of the backyard of the home. After the alert was posted on the Ring network in Concord, several other residents reported seeing it in different parts of the city, including South Street, School Street, South Fruit Street, and Pleasant Street.
One resident said they were having coffee on their front porch and saw the moose trotting on the sidewalk on South Street heading toward Pleasant Street. Another reported seeing it on South Fruit Street to Pleasant Street. It is probably heading toward downtown, they remarked. A fourth resident said they heard it was seen on School Street, too.

The New Hampshire Fish & Game Department recommends when driving to always brake for moose since the accidents can sometimes “result in injury or death to drivers and passengers.” Watching them, if seen, was “fun,” state officials said, adding, “But always watch from a safe and respectful distance. Moose are bigger and faster than any person and give little warning before attacking a perceived threat.”
