Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Drug Arrest, Home Raid
Bow Police arrested Christopher Poire after a traffic stop this week. After a search warrant at his home, another charge was filed.

BOW, NH — A traffic stop this week reportedly involving a local man led to two police actions against him, according to Bow Police. Christopher Poire, 28, of Dicandra Drive in Bow, was arrested on April 10, 2017, and charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, methamphetamine, breach of bail, and an open container violation.

At around 7:45 p.m. on Monday night, officers reportedly saw Poire driving and knew from a previous drug and domestic violence incident, that he was not licensed to drive, according to a report from Sgt. Art Merrigan of the Bow Police Department.

Poire was pulled over and then, arrested. He was processed and held on $5,000 cash bail with an arraignment date of April 12, in Merrimack County Superior Court.
Today, according to a follow-up press release by Merrigan, Bow Police and DEA agents assigned to the Clandestine Lab Team executed a search warrant at Poire’s home. During the search, police allegedly found more drugs and arrested him again for felony possession of a controlled drug-Suboxone and an outstanding warrant for operating after suspension. He was held on $5,000 cash bail.

“The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be forth coming, pending lab results,” Merrigan noted.
Merrigan also stated that Bow Fire and Rescue teams also assisted the department at the scene.
