New Hampshire Fugitive Of The Week Surrenders To Authorities
Henry Edward "Woodsy" Woods, a violent sex offender wanted on parole violations and a drug charge, is now in police custody in Berlin.

CONCORD, NH — This week's New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week is now in custody, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Henry Edward "Woodsy" Woods, 36, a convicted sexual and aggravated assaulter with multiple outstanding warrants for a parole violation, failing to appear on a synthetic narcotics charge, and failure to maintain a sex offender registration with Laconia police, surrendered to police in Berlin Wednesday after being featured as this week's fugitive of the week.
According to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, task force investigators were in the northern part of the state after developing information Woods might be in the Berlin area.

"Members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force went to this area yesterday and looked at possible locations for Woods," White said. "Shortly after investigators returned to the Concord area, it was learned that Woods turned himself into the Berlin Police Department."
Woods is currently being held at the New Hampshire State Prison in Berlin on the parole violations and will be awaiting additional court dates on his other outstanding arrest warrants, White added.
