New Hampshire Robbery Suspect Fails To Appear: U.S. Marshals

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task has placed an "armed and dangerous" warning on this week's fugitive, Rodney Alan Polchies Jr.

Polchies was accused of failure to appear at his arraignment in Strafford County Superior Court on Feb. 4 after being accused of armed robbery and assault charges in Rollinsford in November 2020. He is 37, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 210 lbs. Polchies has brown hair and brown eyes as well as several tattoos on his neck, arms, and right calf.

After being arrested on the charges and released on cash bail, he was accused of not showing up in court. A warrant was issued for his arrest the next day, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.

"Based on Polchies' charges, he should be considered armed and dangerous," he said. "Polchies has strong ties to the tri-city area of New Hampshire including Dover, Rochester, and Somersworth."
