New Hampshire Woman Placed On Fugitive Status Again By Corrections
Katlyn Leigh Waninger is wanted for a probation violation after being convicted of assault. An alert warns she has "violent tendencies."

CONCORD, NH — This week’s fugitive of the week in New Hampshire has been a fugitive before.
In 2017, Katlyn Leigh Waninger was wanted as a fugitive and remained on the lam for around six years. After being arrested in April, it was thought that she would attend a court hearing in July, but investigators said she failed to show up.
Waninger is 37, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs around 135 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair. Waninger also has tattoos on her left and right forearms — including a Chinese symbol on the right arm.

The probation warrant for her arrest was issued on July 5 and was connected to simple assault and resisting arrest or detention convictions. A caution warning of “violent tendencies” was also added to her alert.
Waninger was last known to live in Berlin. She also does not drive and typically travels by foot, investigators said.
