CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is searching for a felon who is accused of failing to appear in superior court on more felony charges.

Back in December 2019, Brandon Carl Hanson, 34, was accused of receiving stolen property, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of a controlled drug-subsequent, all felonies, after an incident in Laconia. About a month before, Hanson was charged with felony possession of a controlled drug in Northwood. While those charges were making their way through the court system, more charges arose: In Belmont in March, he was charged with receiving stolen property, reckless conduct-deadly weapon, and possession of a controlled drug-subsequent, all felonies, as well as disobeying an officer and receiving stolen property, and in April, four felony forgery charges were issued against him in Strafford County Superior Court.

Then, on July 15, Hanson was accused of failing to appear at a status conference in Belknap County Superior Court on the Laconia charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. The fugitive task force was brought in on the case this week.
