New Hampshire Fugitive With ‘Violent Tendencies’ Sought By Corrections Department
Jake Hagy was released on parole in 2024 after being convicted of first-degree assault and robbery. He's considered "armed and dangerous."

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a possibly “armed and dangerous” fugitive with “violent tendencies” who is wanted on a parole violation.
Jake W. Hagy is 34, white, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown eyes. Hagy has a tattoo on his right front arm of the name, “Blanche,” and a cross with the name “Hagy 2001” on his upper right arm.
A corrections alert said Hagy sometimes uses the alias “Jacob Wesley Hagy.”

Hagy was convicted of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and receiving stolen property and sentenced to three-to-six years in prison in June 2021. He was released on parole in December 2024 and stopped reporting to his parole officer — something he has done in the past, according to an alert.
“His whereabouts are unknown,” officials said, although he was last known to be living in the Rochester and Somersworth area of the state.

Hagy’s priors include burglary, drug possession, theft, resisting, criminal mischief, and trespass.

According to superior court records, Hagy’s criminal history dates back at least more than a dozen years when he was accused of felony receiving stolen property in Somersworth in March 2012.
Hagy pleaded guilty to the charge in July 2012 and received a three year suspended sentence.
In October 2012, he was accused of theft and receiving stolen property in Somersworth and pleaded guilty to the charges five months later. Hagy received two one-and-a-half-to-three-year prison sentences with 141 days times served.
Hagy was charged with receiving stolen property, loitering, and resisting arrest in Somersworth in November 2018 as well as meth and heroin possession, criminal trespass, resisting, and criminal mischief charges in December 2018. In August 2019, he pleaded guilty to drug and other charges and received two 12-month sentences, both suspended for three years with 227 days time served.
In October 2019, Hagy was accused of first-degree assault, robbery, theft, and simple assault in Somersworth. He was also charged with subsequent drug possession in Dover. Hagy pleaded guilty to robbery, first-degree assault, simple assault, and drug counts in June 2021. At the same time, Hagy was found in violation of probation or parole.
