CONCORD, NH - An alleged violent New Hampshire fugitive is behind bars after being arrested on Sunday morning in Manchester, according to U.S. Marshals.

Dorbor “D-Dog” Nyonee, 27, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the U.S. District Court in Concord for supervised release violations after being convicted of counterfeiting in 2011.

According to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White, an arrest warrant was issued Nyonee in September 2015 and he was immediately featured as a Fugitive of the Week due to his alleged violent tendencies. However, Nyonee, a Liberian national, was reportedly on a “cross-country journey,” according to marshals, and was arrested for driving under the influence in December 2015 in Minnesota, where he escaped capture by authorizes after allegedly using a fake name, something he has been known to do in the past.

“Unfortunately, Nyonee was released on bail, prior to his true name being realized,” White noted.

Nyonee was re-featured in late January and marshals “aggressively” began developing information about his whereabouts with the Manchester Police Department after “several tips” came in that he might be back in the Queen City.

Early Sunday morning, Manchester Police learned that Nyonee was at a bar on Valley Street. Officers attempted to locate him and reportedly observed him inside of the bar.

“He immediately fled out the rear door,” White alleged. “Nyonee was quickly intercepted but continued to resist arrest until a Taser was used to assist in gaining control of him.”

Nyonee was brought to the Hillsborough County Jail, where he is currently being held pending his hearing today on resisting arrest charges at Manchester District Court, according to White. Once these charges are resolved, Nyonee will be transferred to the custody of the U.S. Marshals on his outstanding federal supervised release violation warrant.
