NH Weather Update: An Inch to 2-Inches Of Snow Expected Wednesday

The National Weather Service says light snow is possible for the central, southwestern part of the state; up to 2 inches on the Seacoast.

GRAY, MAINE — Weather forecasters are reporting there is a chance of snow showers around New Hampshire with light accumulations possible on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service said about an inch of snow is expected in central and southwestern New Hampshire by the end of the day. The Seacoast may see up to 2 inches.

“Offshore low pressure is expected to produce light, accumulating snowfall over the coastal plain Wednesday into Wednesday night,” a weather notice on Tuesday stated. “Locally higher amounts of fluffy accumulations are possible, mostly along the immediate coast.”

The NWS said the chance of showers was around 60 percent for Concord, Nashua, and surrounding communities. Hampton, North Hampton, and Portsmouth should also expect a 60 percent chance of snow showers.

Temperatures will be in the low 30s.

The sun will return on Thursday with highs near 35.
