NHSP Urging Anyone With Info On Fatal I-93 Crash To Come Forward
A man perished yesterday afternoon after plowing into a disabled tractor-trailer truck from Missouri just south of the Hooksett tollbooth.

HOOKSETT, NH — The New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the cause of a fatal motor vehicle crash on I-93 in Hooksett yesterday afternoon. At around 3 p.m. on April 6, 2018, state police, Hooksett Fire and Rescue teams, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation were called to the southbound lane just after the open tolling for a crash. When they arrived, according to Staff Sgt. William Graham of Troop B, troopers found a white Chevrolet Tahoe, with no license plates, had crashed into a 2003 Peterbilt tractor-trailer truck with a Missouri registration.
The tractor-trailer was in the breakdown lane, Graham noted.
“The driver of the Tahoe was declared dead at the scene,” Graham stated. “The operator of the tractor-trailer was not injured.”

Two lanes of the highway were closed for about three and a half hours while crews attempted to separate the vehicles, remove the driver from the SUV, and cleanup the scene. NH DOT assisted with traffic control, Graham said.
