CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help in finding a North Country felon accused of a probation violation.

Craig Thomas Lagerstrom is 40, white, about 6 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He has hazel eyes and blonde hair, but often has a shaved head. Lagerstrom has no known aliases, but he is “known to use a false ID,” according to corrections, and sometimes pretends to be his twin brother.

Lagerstrom is wanted after being accused of failing to report to probation after being released from the Grafton County Jail on Nov. 2, 2025, a report stated. He was serving a sentence for a previous probation violation, corrections said.

In 2024 and 2025, according to superior court records, Lagerstrom racked up charges in three North Country communities.

Lagerstrom was accused of being a habitual offender, disobeying an officer, and motor vehicle violations in Littleton in June 2024. In November 2024, he was accused of being a habitual offender, disobeying an officer, and motor vehicle violations in Whitefield. And, in Bethlehem, Lagerstrom was arrested on drug possession and a penalty for an offense committed while on bail in March 2025.

On Aug. 12, 2025, he pleaded guilty to the habitual offender and disobeying an officer charges out of Whitefield and received a 12-month jail sentence, suspended for three years, and a two-and-a-half-to-five-year prison sentence suspended for 10 years.

On Aug. 22, 2025, he pleaded guilty to the Littleton habitual offender and disobeying an officer charges and received a 12-month jail sentence, deferred for a year with the possibility of an extended two-year deferment later, as well as a three-month jail sentence.

On Sept. 9, 2025, Lagerstrom pleaded guilty to the two Bethlehem drug charges. He received a 12-month jail sentence with 185 days of time-served credit and two years probation. Lagerstrom also received a one- to three-year sentence, suspended for three years. He was also fined $1,240, but those were suspended, too.

The day after Christmas 2025, the case was reopened and a warrant was issued for Lagerstrom’s arrest due to a violation of probation accusation. The warrant was reissued on Feb. 26.
