Overdose Reported At Concord Homeless Camp Near South Main Street
Watch: Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as the police, were sent to the homeless camp behind the 7-Eleven for a report of an overdose.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating an overdose at a homeless camp on Sunday.
A man was reported not conscious or breathing in the camp near 7-Eleven on South Main Street. The caller told police they tried to rub snow on the man's face and could not wake him up.
Firefighters and officers arrived to the scene. One officer said the man had turned blue.

“Firefighters are working on him,” the officer said, “but he doesn’t have a pulse.”
After two doses of Narcan, firefighters got him breathing again, but he was still unconscious. The officer also could not identify the man but attempted to match tattoos to a man with priors in his 40s.

The man was taken to Concord Hospital by ambulance later.
While they were at the homeless camp, another man, unconscious and inside a vehicle, was reported in the parking lot of the Tru Hotel.
Firefighters, EMTs, and police headed to the next call after leaving the homeless camp.
The man, however, refused treatment and transportation, according to scanner chatter.
Police at the homeless camp secured the scene for a possible future investigation.
