Pacik Named City Solicitor For Concord

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord is pleased to announce that Danielle Pacik has been named city solicitor.

Pacik has served as the city of Concord’s deputy city solicitor since October 2011. She was recently named acting city solicitor in February after former City Solicitor James Kennedy was appointed as a justice to the New Hampshire Superior Court.

Prior to coming to Concord, Pacik worked at the New Hampshire Department of Justice in the Civil Bureau as an assistant attorney general. She also worked in private practice as a commercial litigation attorney, and she served as a judicial law clerk for former New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice James Duggan. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 2001.

“It has been a pleasure to work as the deputy city solicitor over the last 12 years,” Pacik said. “I look forward to continuing to serve Concord in my new role.”

In her role as deputy city solicitor, Pacik has worked closely with the city council, the city’s boards and committees, and all departments on a full spectrum of legal matters. She has also handled litigation work, provided legal counsel, and was the chief negotiator for the city’s collective bargaining team. As city solicitor, she will continue to provide legal counsel and representation and oversee the city’s legal department, including the city prosecutor’s office.

“We are happy to be able to promote Danielle to the role of city solicitor,” said City Manager Tom Aspell. “She has extensive law experience and has been a valuable asset to not only our solicitor’s office, but to the city overall as a legal resource.”
