Pedestrian Struck By Car In Concord Monday Has Died: Update
Concord police are asking for witnesses who may have been in the area of Boutwell's Bowling Center on Monday to come forward.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are asking for witnesses who may have seen a pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car on Monday to come forward.
The man, whose family has been notified but whose identity is being withheld “pending further investigation,” was struck at just after 8 p.m. A trauma alert was immediately requested by Concord fire and rescue teams before taking the pedestrian to the hospital. The man died at Concord Hospital on Tuesday morning.
According to comments on Patch by people who knew him, he was bowling with others during league games at Boutwell’s Bowling Center.

Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Concord police and New Hampshire State Police were at the crash scene reinvestigating conditions and sightlines. Traffic was diverted from Bouton to Penacook to Rumford and back onto North State Street for about two hours.

In a news release, Sgt. Marc McGonagle of the Concord Police Department said only one vehicle was involved in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
McGonagle asked anyone with any information about the crash to contact Concord Police Department at 603-225-8600 or anonymously via the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226- 3100.
