Penacook Man Arrested on Drug Dealing Charge
Bow Police allegedly find Robert Kenyon asleep at park-and-ride on Route 3A, with heroin, cash.

A local man was arraigned in court yesterday on a drug charge after allegedly being found sleeping in his car in Bow with heroin and a stash of cash.
Robert Kenyon, 57, of Penacook, was arrested on April 19, 2015, and charged with possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute and a warrant.
According to police, at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, an officer patrolling the park-and-ride on Route 3A saw a vehicle with an open window and a man reclined in the driver’s seat.

The man appeared to be sleeping, according to the report. The officer checked the plate and found that the owner of the vehicle, Kenyon, had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. The officer checked to see if the driver was Kenyon and arrested him.
While being taken into custody, the officer allegedly found two plastic bags of heroin – about 11 grams of the drug – and $3,300 in cash, according to the report. Kenyon was put on a 72-hour probationary hold. He was arraigned yesterday and is being held on $10,000 cash bail.

Sgt. Art Merrigan of the Bow Police Department noted that if Kenyon were to come up with the cash bail, a hearing would be held to determine the origins of the funds.
Back in 2011, Kenyon was serving time on drug charges when he failed to return to the halfway house he was staying in, according to the state of New Hampshire. He was also arrested on a bench warrant in Concord in 2012.
