Record High Temperatures Set In Concord Saturday, Sunday
National Weather Service: The record high temperature Saturday broke one from 1980. On Sunday, it broke a previous record from 1885.
CONCORD, NH — Both Saturday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, are in the record books two of the warmest days in history for January, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters announced the record high temperature of 67 degrees Sunday on its website around 4:45 p.m. The temperature was recorded at the Concord Airport.
The previous high for Concord on this date was 61 degrees set in 1885.
A record high was also set in Portland, Maine, of 52 degrees. The previous record of 51 was in 2014.

Around 9:45 a.m., forecasters posted a chart with a "wide range of temperatures" across the region Sunday including 64 degrees in Nashua and 41 degrees on top of Mount Washington.
A number of communities saw record high temperatures Saturday, too, according to forecasters. Concord was 61 degrees Saturday, Manchester was 65, Montpelier, Vermont, was 60, Boston, Massachusetts, was 70, and Central Park in New York City was 69 degrees.

The previous record in Concord for Jan. 11 was 58 degrees set in 1980.
