Rhode Island Trucker Injured In NH After Tractor-Trailer Flips On Its Side On I-89
McGregor Moise of Providence, RI, was sent to the hospital and charged with speeding after losing control on a turn in Enfield on Thursday.

CONCORD, NH — A trucker from Rhode Island was taken to the hospital after being injured during a crash on Interstate 89 on Thursday.
New Hampshire State Police were sent to a report of a tractor-trailer crash around 4:45 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 15 in Enfield. At the time, Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department noted, the area was experiencing “winter storm” conditions.
An investigation led troopers to accuse McGregor Moise, 30, of Providence, RI, of speeding. A report stated the truck he was driving, in the right lane of the highway, approached a turn. As he began to brake, the truck moved into the left high-speed lane, she said.

“It was during this time when the truck lost control and flipped over onto its left side,” Lagace said. “As a result, the truck slid on its side for approximately 275 feet and damaged the guardrail on the left side of the highway.”
An Enfield fire and rescue team took Moise to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.

Lagace said the left lanes of both the northbound and southbound sides of the Interstate were closed for several hours due to the investigation, cleanup, and removal of the truck.
Moise was charged with speeding later.
Troop D troopers were assisted by Troop G troopers, the Enfield Police Department, Lebanon and Enfield fire and rescue personnel, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to contact Trooper Kaylee Surber at 603-271-3333 or Kaylee.A.Surber@dos.nh.gov.
