Ridgeway Racks Up More Charges
Concord Police issue charges against the alleged burglar after incidents discovered, investigated earlier this year.

CONCORD, NH — A local man is facing a number of new charges based on alleged crimes committed earlier in the year, according to arrest reports. Steven D. Ridgeway, 41, of Clinton Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on June 17, 2016, and charged with felony burglary, six counts of receiving stolen property, felony criminal liability for the conduct of another, driving after revocation, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, theft from a motor vehicle, and default or breach of bail conditions.

According to four arrest reports from mid-June, an officer issued charges against Ridgeway at the Merrimack House of Corrections stemming from a number of incidents in and around the capital region in February, March, and April. He refused bail and was arraigned on June 20.

On Feb. 11, 2016, while out on bail, Ridgeway was allegedly involved in a stolen purse and check forgery case where his name was used on a stolen check out of Hooksett, according to police. Charges were later filed against Michael Fortier for the actual alleged activity. But police in Concord believe that Ridgeway was assisting in the crime, so he was charged.
The theft and driving charges stem from an alleged incident at Target on D’Amante Drive on Feb. 29, and March 16, according to police.

At around 7 a.m. on March 21, Ridgeway allegedly burglarized Building 3 at the Village at 30 Pines on Borough Road and not long after that incident, was involved in at least two receiving stolen property incidents on the same day and April 5.
At 1 p.m. on March 21, he allegedly stole items from a vehicle parked at Concord Hospital.
Other recent crime allegations
Ridgeway is no stranger to police, according to recent arrest reports.
He is a suspect in a felony burglary case at the Best Western hotel in Concord in late January. He was arrested in mid-November 2015 after allegedly breaking into vehicles at the Regal Cinemas on Loudon Road in September of last year. His brother, Michael S. Ridgeway, was also charged with criminal liability for another in the case.
Earlier this year, on March 25, according to Manchester Police, Ridgeway was arrested along with Katelyn Glidden on warrants while police were investigating a theft incident at Walmart in the Queen City.
On March 28, Ridgeway was charged with criminal mischief, five counts of possession of controlled drugs, three of them felonies, two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one a felony, possession of burglary tools, two counts of receiving stolen property, and felony criminal liability for conduct of another after police investigators completed their work related to a rash of vehicle break-ins at Regal Cinemas on Loudon Road last year.
