Update: Manchester Woman Arrested After Hooksett Rollover Crash

Watch: Kaylee Thibeault was arrested Sunday on DUI, other charges after her Toyota crashed into a ditch at Mammoth Road and Zapora Drive.

CONCORD, NH — Fire and rescue teams as well as police were sent to a single-vehicle rollover crash in Hooksett on Sunday.

Just before 2:15 p.m., the crash was reported at the intersection of Mammoth Road and Zapora Drive with extrication needed. The vehicle, a Toyota Matrix, rolled during the crash and landed on its roof in a ditch.

Fire dispatch was told before arriving that it was unknown how many people were in the vehicle but a witness said the vehicle engine was beginning to smoke, according to dispatch. When firefighters arrived, they found one person, the driver, outside the vehicle, having freed herself from the vehicle.

According to police, officers were informed not long before the crash of a vehicle backing into a utility pole at Smoker's Haven on Hooksett Road. A few minutes later, they were informed a similar vehicle had crashed a couple of blocks away.

The driver, Kaylee Thibeault, 28, of Manchester, was accused of becoming "uncooperative" and then "combative" with firefighters, according to Sgt. Joseph Ducharme of the Hooksett Police Department.

"She also kicked and kneed officers before she kicked and bit the police cruiser," Ducharme said.

Thibeault was taken to Elliot Hospital by an officer where a blood test was requested but she "refused any and all testing," he said. She was arrested on driving under the influence, simple assault, conduct after an accident, and resisting arrest or detention charges. Thibeault is due in Hooksett District Court on Jan. 28, 2021, for arraignment.
