Alex Ray of The Common Man has teamed up with Rotary Clubs around the state to hand out masks to flatten the new coronavirus curve.
CONCORD, NH — Rotary Clubs across New Hampshire have teamed up with Alex Ray of The Common Man to distribute free masks for anyone who would like them in an effort to sustain the flattening of the curve of the new coronavirus.
The Mask Up NH effort has made about 67,000 masks available and raised nearly $17,000 online toward relief efforts. Donations are also being taken at the drive-thru locations.
At the Concord restaurant on Water Street Friday, members of the Rotary Club of Concord were distributing two masks per person. They will be back Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., too. Ray was there during the first half hour along U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, was also on-hand for a bit to hand out the cloth coverings. Cindy Flanagan of Concord Dance Academy, Tim Sink, the president of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, Nancy Parker, and others were also volunteering Friday.
