Search For Harmony Montgomery Murder Clues Underway In Massachusetts: New Hampshire AG
In Revere, MA, on Friday, investigators searched for evidence connected to the 5-year-old girl, who was murdered in NH in December 2019.

CONCORD, NH — Investigators with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and Manchester police are in Massachusetts searching for evidence connected to a child murder case from 2019.
Officials said Friday investigators were working with the Mass. State Police and other law enforcement agencies, searching a marsh area along Route 107 in the city of Revere as part of the Harmony Montgomery murder case.
Harmony Montgomery, who was 5 when she was believed to have been killed in December 2019, in Manchester, has been the subject of an extensive investigation. Her father, Adam Montgomery, a career criminal from Bedford, has been accused of killing the girl. He also faces gun theft, felon in possession, and other charges. Adam Montgomery is being held in jail without bail.

Her stepmother, Kayla Montgomery, recently reached a plea deal with the state and is cooperating with the investigation after being in and out of jail and facing her own felony charges.
“Due to the ongoing investigation, no additional information will be released at this time,” Michael Garrity, the attorney general’s office communications director. “Officials caution against any speculation related to the potential results of this search.”

The area being searched is not far from Austin Square in the city of Lynn, MA, where Darlin Guzman, 28, was gunned down in a parking lot in February 2008. Boston press reports in January 2022, said Adam Montgomery was a suspect in the case “almost since day one.”
Adam Montgomery was also involved in a shooting in Haverhill, MA, in January 2014 while trying to score heroin.
The search for Harmony continues, and law enforcement still requests the public’s assistance locating her remains, Garrity said.
Anyone with information regarding her murder or the location of her remains was asked to contact police using the 24-hour tip line dedicated to the case: 603-203-6060.
