Sex Offender Theft Suspect, NH Fugitive Arrested In Concord Gardens
Breaking: Convicted child sexual assaulter, career criminal Ronaldo Towers was arrested this afternoon while hiding out on Christian Avenue.

CONCORD, NH — This week’s New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week was quickly scooped up by the U.S. Marshals Service, hiding out in an apartment on the Heights of Concord this afternoon, according to a press alert. Ronaldo L. Towers, 32, was arrested without incident on Christian Avenue in the Concord Gardens Apartment Complex. According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, Towers was wanted on outstanding warrants for probation violations stemming from a prior conviction for failing to register as a sex offender, issued by Merrimack County, and failure to register and theft by the Concord Police Department.

“Mr. Towers is required to register as a sex offender as a result of a 2007 conviction in the state of Maine for felonious sexual assault on a victim between the ages of 13 and 16,” he noted.

This arrest was made through a cooperative effort of several partner agencies of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force including the Belknap, Hillsborough and Merrimack County Sheriff’s Offices, the Concord Police Department, deputy U.S. Marshals, White stated.
Since 2002, the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force has made more than 6,800 arrests.

According to the state of New Hampshire and posts online, Towers has a lengthy criminal history including three previous convictions for failing to register, possession of drugs, revocation charges, resisting arrest, false imprisonment, assault, accomplice to burglary and theft charges, as well as the felonious sexual assault charges against a child.
