Shooting Incident At Steeplegate Mall Was A Murder-Suicide: AG

Breaking: The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office has released autopsy information about a man and woman who died on Wednesday.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office has released autopsy results from the man and woman who were killed in a shooting incident at the Steeplegate Mall Wednesday. Officials have determined that the incident was a murder-suicide. Concord police and fire and rescue teams were called to the mall at around 7:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting incident.

When they arrived, they found a man, Alex Thorne, 22, of Dunbarton, with a gunshot wound to the head and a gun next to him and a woman with a gunshot wound. The woman, Zoe Desmarais, 21, was taken to Concord Hospital where she later passed away.

Dr. Christine James, an associate medical examiner with the state of New Hampshire, has determined that Desmarais was shot by Thorne and then Thorne turned the gun on himself, taking his own life.
