Trees Fall Down On Streets, A Minivan, And The Hood Plant In Concord
Watch: A severe thunderstorm in Concord caused major damage and knocked out power to thousands around the region.
CONCORD, NH — The first major thunderstorm of the summer season caused problems all over the city — but first responders quickly reacted to the chaos.
The storm was expected to bring gusty winds, hard rain, hail, and possibly a tornado. Most of that came true.
Around 5:30 p.m., the storm hit, knocking out power to around 3,500 Unitil customers in the region with about 6,000 Eversource customers also losing power around the city.

Electrical workers, firefighters, police, and others responded to all kinds of emergency circumstances around the city on Tuesday.
