Two Arrested on Document Charges
New Hampshire State Police arrest Massachusetts residents at the Concord DMV.

The New Hampshire State Police arrested more Massachusetts residents illegally trying to obtain New Hampshire driver’s licenses at a Department of Motor Vehicle location in the state.
Yoel Elieser Romero, 34, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested on April 8, 2015. Also arrested was Escarlyn Javier, 26, of Lawrence, MA, was charged with conspiracy to commit unsworn falsification.
According to state police, at around 10:41 a.m., troopers were sent to the Concord DMV after a man with the name of “Japhet Cancel Hernendez” of Lawrence, MA, was allegedly attempting to renew a New Hampshire license.

A sergeant reportedly was able to determine that the man was allegedly providing false documents and also learned that there was a woman who was reportedly assisting him with the application.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department was also brought in to investigation and identified the man as Romero, an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic. He was arrested at the scene.

Javier, the woman who was reportedly assisting Romero, was taken into custody and charged. She was released on $500 cash bail.
