Which Communities Made the SafeWise Safest Cities in NH List?
The 2016 listing is out, based on FBI data, population, and demographics. Only two New Hampshire Patch.com communities cracked the Top 20.
The latest rankings of safe communities in the Granite State put together by The SafeWise Report is out and only two Patch communities made the Top 20, according to the rankings. The study analyzed FBI crime data from 2014 along with population data.
Windham came in at 11th on the list while Merrimack was 15th.
Many of the safest “cities” on the list aren’t cities at all but, instead, are towns. The org removed all communities with fewer than 3,000 residents as well as any community that failed to submit complete data to the FBI.

According to the data, Atkinson is ranked No. 1 in the state followed by Danville, Chester, Nottingham, and Weare.
