Windsor Felon Charged After Being Shot By Police In Concord Park
Dylan Stahley was arrested on burglary, other charges. The attorney general's office is investigating the shooting at White Park Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — Formal charges have been issued against an accused burglar after police shot him during a standoff in White Park in Concord Sunday. Dylan J. Stahley, 22, of Windsor, was arrested on April 5 and charged with burglary, reckless conduct, and felon in possession of a firearm, all felonies. The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office is conducting an investigation of an officer involved shooting after Concord police and state troopers were in a standoff with Stahley in the baseball field of the park late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The call originally started as an alarm activation at the Merrimack Lodge Skate House at the park around 11:20 p.m.

"As that incident was being investigated, a subject was reported to be on the nearby ball field with a gun," said Kate Spiner, the director of communications for the attorney general. "Following the initial response, several Concord police officers and New Hampshire State Troopers located that subject, who appeared to be armed. At approximately 12:15 a.m., on April 5, 2020, the subject was shot during a confrontation with the police."
Stahley was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment. He was charged there and is currently still hospitalized, according to Spiner.

Spiner said no officers or other private citizens were physically injured during the incident and there is no threat to the public. Information about the officer is being held pending the conclusion of a formal review.
"No additional information is expected to be released until the conclusion of the formal interview(s)," Spiner said.
Stahley is no stranger to police.
In early October 2017, he was arrested in Concord on a prowling charge after an incident near Penuche's in Bicentennial Square. A week later, he was arrested on a criminal trespass charge after an incident on Liberty Street near White Park.
In September 2018, he was arrested by Concord police after a girl accused him of rape during a party in August 2017 in the Concord quarries. At the time, he was living in Hillsborough. According to the Concord Monitor, he pleaded guilty in 2019 to an assault charge with a 90-day sentence as part of a plea deal.
In September 2019, he was arrested in Concord on a bench warrant near the Shell gas station on Loudon Road.
