Winter Fly Tying Classes Beginning January 5th

Basil W. Woods, Jr. Chapter of Trout Unlimited Fly Tying Classes Start Soon - Register now to secure your place.

The Basil W. Woods, Jr. Chapter of Trout Unlimited fly tying classes are soon to be up and running. We will be offering our time-tested fly tying lessons beginning Tuesday, January 5th, 2016.

The six-week beginner’s class is open to anyone 14 years or older - no experience is required. The chapter is supplying materials and vises for up to 15 participants. Flies taught are representative of the streamer, nymph, wet and dry types. The fee for the beginner class is $50.

The intermediate class begins February 16th and runs for 5 consecutive weeks. Participants, who have some tying experience, that want a refresher, or have completed the beginner’s class, will enjoy the intermediate course. As in the beginner class, materials and vises for up to 15 participants will be provided. The students will learn two flies per night of various patterns. . The fee for the intermediate class is $75.

Also, a free one year membership to Trout Unlimited will be given to first time Trout Unlimited members.
