Winter Storm Watch Issued: Moderate To Heavy Snow Coming To New Hampshire

National Weather Service: Low visibility, dangerous driving conditions from Thursday night to Saturday morning; 6 to 12 inches expected.

GRAY, ME — A winter storm watch has been issued for New Hampshire by weather forecasters expecting as much as 6 inches of snow, possibly more, between Thursday night and Saturday morning.

The alert was issued around 10 a.m. warning of “periods of moderate and heavy snow” combined with “low visibility,” which could “create dangerous driving conditions” around the state.

“The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes,” the alert stated.

Snow could also mix or change to rain closer to the coast, depending on the storm’s trajectory.

AccuWeather.com forecasters are predicting as much as 18 inches of snow in the North Country, while the Lakes Region and Concord, and the capital region should expect 6 to 12 inches. One to 6 inches of snow are expected on the Seacoast and Rockingham County.
