Wintry Mix Of Freezing Rain, Ice, Snow Heading To New Hampshire
National Weather Service warns of hazardous road conditions across the state starting Thursday but only 2- to 4-inch accumulations.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service issued "winter weather advisory" and "hazardous weather outlook" alerts for most of the New Hampshire Wednesday. Forecasters warned that a "complex" low pressure areas were expected to come into the region Thursday morning and then again Friday and may cause commuter issues. The advisory was issued at 3:54 a.m. Feb. 5.
"Wintry precipitation will begin in southern New Hampshire early Thursday morning, and will spread into the remainder of New Hampshire and western Maine by the morning rush hour," the alert stated. "Although there will be a gap in precipitation for some areas Thursday night into Friday morning, the potential for a wintry mix of precipitation will continue, with additional accumulating snowfall possible Friday. This will make for slick morning and evening commutes both days."
Granite Staters can expect 2- to 4-inches of snow through Friday, an alert said.

AccuWeather.com is calling for 1- to 3-inches in southern New Hampshire and 3- to 6-inches from the Lakes Region to the north. The timeline for the storm start runs from 4 a.m. Thursday in western New Hampshire and 7 a.m. on the Seacoast. The storm is expected to end in western and central New Hampshire by 9 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. on Friday on the Seacoast.
