Stiles Endorses Tweedie for State Senate Seat
Outgoing Senator for District 24 says Rye businessman's background have equipped him with the skills to find real solutions for NH.

RYE, NH - Hampton resident and retiring three-term state Sen. Nancy Stiles announced on June 16, 2016, that she has endorsed Rye businessman, Ray Tweedie, for the open District 24 seat, which represents Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, New Castle, North Hampton, Newton, Rye, Seabrook, Stratham and South Hampton in Concord.
“I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Ray over the years and I have the utmost confidence he will provide District 24 with the representation they deserve in Concord,” Stiles said in a press statement, “His record of public service, community involvement, and strong work ethic, coupled with a desire to support the needs of the district and the citizens of New Hampshire, are why I am excited to support his campaign.”
Tweedie, a respected businessman in the Seacoast region, has served on the Rye Planning Board, currently sits on the Board of Directors for Hope on Haven Hill and recently resigned from his role as the Area 2 Vice Chairman for the New Hampshire Republican State Committee to campaign.

“Ray’s background in the private and nonprofit sectors as well as his time in municipal government have equipped him with the skills, the mindset and the drive to find real solutions to the issues we face as a state," she noted. "Ray Tweedie is the clear, conservative choice for voters looking for a candidate who will be ready to lead on day one.”
In a statement, Tweedie thanked Stiles for her endorsement and is enthusiastic to have her join him on the campaign trail.

“Senator Stiles is one of the most respected and accomplished members of the Senate," he said. "I admire the work she did on behalf of District 24 and I am honored to have her support and guidance.
Tweedie said he was running for state Senate because he believed, as a parent and fifth generation New Hampshire native, that its leaders need policies that will enable the state to be one of the best places to raise a family and start a business.
"I look forward to earning every vote this September and I am ecstatic to have Senator Stiles join me as I campaign throughout the district," he added.
