With all the talk about globalization and the bad economy, here is some good local economic news: First, the CEO of this Hampton company is bringing jobs back to America from China. Air refueling tankers are also going to be flying out of Portsmouth at Pease, which means more jobs for the Seacoast region, too.

How about some more good news? Volunteers in Salem built this cool pool for a little girl with cancer; these dancers from Londonderry got to perform at Disney; there’s a new manager at the Merrimack Premium Outlets mall; and New Hampshire has some of the best school systems in the country.

Speaking of Portsmouth, the police there are starting to use Nextdoor.com to interact with neighborhoods with alerts and crime watches.
