Queen City Thief Arrested On Robbery, Theft Charges In Londonderry After Incidents At 2 Stores, Cops Say
Luis Concepcion of Manchester was accused of shoplifting Don Julio from a NH Liquor and Wine Outlet and then stealing from Market Basket.

LONDONDERRY, NH — A man from Manchester was arrested in Londonderry on Monday morning on felony robbery and theft charges after incidents at two stores in town.
Around 10:30 a.m., an officer was sent to the New Hampshire State Liquor and Wine Outlet on Rockingham Road for a shoplifting report. A man reportedly entered the store and stole nearly $110 worth of Don Julio. The suspect fled in a Subaru.

While investigating the incident, police received a report from Market Basket on Michels Way involving a shoplifting and assault.
“It was reported that a suspect was being detained in the parking lot by a Market Basket employee and two witnesses, one of whom was an off-duty police officer,” police said in a statement.

The man, Luis Concepcion, 54, of Manchester, was accused of stealing $149 worth of merchandise from the store. When confronted by a loss prevention officer, who was also trying to take a picture of his vehicle, Concepcion assaulted the employee, the report stated.
“Officers observed three bottles of Don Julio on the front seat of Concepcion’s green Subaru,” the report stated.
Concepcion was arrested and charged with felony robbery, theft by unauthorized taking, a felony due to two prior convictions, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, and disorderly conduct. He was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
