Convicted New Hampshire Bathroom Peeper Failed To Report Social Media Accounts: Cops
Sex offender Travis Demers, who faces violation of privacy charges in Candia and Salem, was arrested on felony charges in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — A convicted restroom and dressing room peeper, who was recently charged with violation of privacy in two more New Hampshire towns, faces new charges in the state’s largest city.
Travis Demers, 24, was arrested remotely from the Rockingham County Jail on three felony duty to inform charges after being accused of failing to tell Manchester police about the social media accounts he was using. The latest charges were levied against him after more run-ins with police, Heather Hamel, a public information officer for the department, said.
“This came to the attention of the Manchester Police Department earlier this month after Demers was arrested by Candia and Salem police on violation of privacy charges,” she said. “Through the course of the investigation, social media accounts were discovered.”

Hamel accused Demers of having three social media accounts he did not report. He was in jail due to an arrest last week in Salem after an incident in May. Candia police arrested Demers on July 30, after the incident in their community. Demers was also booked in June on a duty to inform charge out of Manchester, after being accused of not reporting an address in the required amount of time, Hamel said.
Demers is a registered sex offender due to being convicted on several charges after incidents at stores and malls around Manchester between July and October 2019. As a sex offender, he must tell police where he is living about his address, vehicle, and online identifiers, as well as changes with that information, within five days.
