Habitual Offenders, Others Arrested In Merrimack: Police Log

Plus: Nashua and Merrimack men face assault charges and woman arrested on conduct after an accident charge.

MERRIMACK, NH — Susan Flanders, pictured upper left, 50, of Amherst Road in Merrimack, was arrested on Jan. 30 on a conduct after an accident charge. On Jan. 26, police were sent to Amherst Road for a report of a vehicle crashing into a utility pole. The vehicle was abandoned and had heavy front-end damage, according to police. An officer spoke with the owner of the vehicle, Flanders, and she "admitted to driving the vehicle and leaving the scene," according to Sgt. Brandon Gagnon of the Merrimack Police Department. A warrant was issued, she was arrested, and is due in court on Feb. 4.

William Williams, upper center, 55, of Merrimack, was arrested on Jan. 25 on an assault charge. He's accused of punching a person in the face after police investigated a 911 hang up call in the area of Queens Way and Regal Drive. Williams was arraigned on Jan. 27.

Erik Jeffrey, upper right, 35, of Squire Drive in Nashua, was arrested on Jan. 24 on simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child charges. In November 2019, police began an investigation into a disturbance at a home where a juvenile was injured. Jeffrey was arraigned on Jan. 28.

Kevin Crete, lower left, 55, of Border Street in Amherst, was arrested on Jan. 20 on felony habitual offender and operating after suspension-second offense. An officer stopped a vehicle on Peaslee Road for an infraction. After checking the driver's license, the officer found his privileges were suspended in January 2005 due to a subsequent offense and then, he was deemed a habitual offender in July 2005. He was arrested and is due in court on Feb. 6.

Ricky J. Comtois, lower center, 51, of Stonebridge Drive in Nashua, was arrested on Jan. 23 on felony habitual offender and operating after suspension-subsequent charges as well as a bench warrant for nonappearance in court. An officer saw Comtois at a local business and recognized him from past incidents. Comtois, according to Lt. Michael Marcotte of the Merrimack Police Department, left the scene and the officer ran a check of his license and found the warrant. He also found that Comtois had a suspended license and was a certified habitual offender. The officer caught up with Comtois, stopped his vehicle, and arrested him. Comtois was held without bail and arraigned on Jan. 24.
