11 Nashua Crime Sweeps In 2017: 71 Arrested

Nashua police have conducted 11 crime sweeps so far in 2017, resulting in total of 71 arrests — including 19 for heroin-related crimes.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police have conducted 11 crime sweeps so far this year, resulting in a total of 71 arrests. Most of the sweeps were conducted under the "Granite Hammer" program, a collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution — especially involving heroin. Of the 71 arrests, 19 were heroin-related, according to police.

Nashua police Lieutenant Kevin Rourke said Nashua citizens concerned about illegal drug activity can contact the police narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
