Nashua Problem-Oriented Policing Unit, Narcotics Intelligence Division, Round Up 8 More On Drug Charges

8 Gate City residents were arrested between July 6 and July 17 as part of the city's continuing substance abuse reduction initiative.

NASHUA, NH — Eight men and women were arrested in mid-to-late July by Nashua police to reduce substance abuse in the Gate City.

Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor of the Nashua Police Department, said the arrests were made by the department's Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem-Oriented Policing Unit. The drug arrests were for various drug crimes, "frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses."

Between July 6 and July 10, four people were arrested: Andrew Hannon, 32, on one felony count of sale of a controlled drug; Mallory Levesque, 42, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent; Pamela Rothkopf, 35, on a felony count of sale of a controlled drug; and Kimberly Saari, 66, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug.

Between July 13 and July 17, four more people were arrested: Kalif Brooks, 30, on two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl and methamphetamine-subsequent; Anthony Giargiari, 37, on a felony count of possession of meth; Andrew Holaday, 34, on a felony count of possession of fentanyl; and Roberto Lopez, 36, on a felony count of sale of crack cocaine.

Brooks, Giargiari, Hannon, Levesque, and Lopez were held pending arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Rothkopf and Saari were released on personal recognizance pending a future arraignment in Hills South.

Holaday was released on $500 cash bail pending arraignment at Hill South.

Cinelli said residents were urged to call the Narcotics Hotline at 603-594-3597 or use the Nashua Police Department's website, NashuaPD.com, with any information concerning illegal drug activity.
