Four Arrested During Latest Operation Granite Shield Drug Sweep

Jesus Fontanez, Eric Wyatt, Jamie Flores, and Richard Morgan were allegedly "associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity."

NASHUA, NH — Another Operation Granite Shield drug sweep was held in the Gate City yesterday leading to charges against four, according to police. Arrested on March 29, 2018, were Jesus Fontanez, 36, upper left, of Morrill Street in Nashua on two felony counts of acts prohibited; possession of a controlled drug-second offense-MDMA and methamphetamine; Eric Wyatt, 29, upper right, no fixed address in Nashua, on two capias warrants as well as of felony acts prohibited; possession of a controlled drug-second-offense-heroin; Jamie Flores, 34, lower left, of Pearson Street in Nashua, for felony habitual offender; and Richard Morgan, 24, lower right, no fixed address in Nashua, on a capias warrant and an electronic bench warrant with the original charge being possession of controlled drug.

Members of the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division, Problem Oriented Policing Unit, and Traffic Unit participated in the sweep and targeted individuals who were allegedly “frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity,” according to a press statement.

Fontanez will face enhanced penalties due to having a prior drug conviction. He was released on $2,500 cash bail and is scheduled for arraignment at a later date.

Wyatt also faces enhanced penalties due to having a prior drug conviction and was held without bail. He will be arraigned today.

Flores is due in court on April 12, 2018, while Morgan was held without bail and will also be arraigned today.
