Honduran Man Caught Living in Nashua to Be Deported Again

Florentino Vasquez-Rodriguez admitted to illegally re-entering the U.S. after he was caught in Texas in 2004.

A Honduran man on Thursday pleaded guilty to federal charges of illegally re-entering the U.S. and living in Nashua.

In 2004, Florentino Vasquez-Rodriguez was arrested at the Texas border for trying to gain entry to the U.S., prosecutors said. He was deported to Honduras.

Authorities said in March 2015, the received information that Vasquez-Rodriguez was living in Nashua. They found him at a residence on Bridge Street. He claimed to be from Puerto Rico but then admitted he was from Honduras and he knew he couldn’t re-enter the U.S.

He’s set to be deported again following a hearing Aug. 20.
