Nashua Drug Sweep: 2 Arrested In 'Granite Hammer'

Nashua police said they arrested a crack cocaine dealer and a heroin dealer in the latest "Granite Hammer" drug sweep.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police on Thursday announced they arrested two drug dealers in the latest "Granite Hammer" drug sweep. The suspects were identified as Nashua residents Lisa Diperna, 54, and Rodney Maulding, 30. Nashua police Lieutenant Kevin Rourke announced the arrests Thursday morning.

Diperna was charged with selling crack cocaine and held on bail pending an arraignment Thursday in Nashua District Court. Maulding was charged with selling heroin in a school zone. He refused bail pending an arraignment Thursday.

The Granite Hammer program is a collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution. Nashua police said anyone with information about drug activity can contact their narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.

It was the 12th crime sweep in Nashua so far this year.
