Nashua Man, 23, Killed Skiing
Terrence Scott, 23, died in a crash at Killington Resort Saturday. Witnesses said he was trying to avoid another skier.

A Nashua man was killed in a crash while skiing at Killington Resort in Vermont over the weekend.
Terrence Scott, 23, died Saturday.
Vermont State Police said witnesses told them Scott, an expert skier, was on an intermediate-level trail when he avoided another skier and then crashed into several trees. He was wearing a helmet but it was thrown off during the crash, police said.

He was found unconscious and later pronounced dead at the resort.
Scott was skiing with a group of family and friends. In his obituary, his family said they were comforted by the fact they were with him when he died.

“(We) will miss Terrence’s gentle spirit,” the obituary reads.
At the time of his death, Scott was working as a process engineer for the defense contractor BAE Systems. He graduated from Ridge High School in New Jersey in 2010 and Rutgers University in 2014.
