Nashua Police Charge Convicted Felon From Derry In Gun Theft
Marc Anderson, who has previously been convicted of a felony, was charged in the theft of a gun stolen from a car in Nashua.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Police charged a Derry man, who has a previous felony conviction, with stealing a gun from a car in Nashua on Monday. Marc Anderson, 28, was charged with Class A felony theft and a Class B felony for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Nashua Police took Anderson into custody early Tuesday afternoon and said they have recovered the gun. On Monday, the Nashua Criminal Investigation Division obtained a warrant for Anderson's arrest after they said he was identified as the suspect in the gun theft. Nashua Police said it was later learned that Anderson is a convicted felon and the second Class B convicted felons charge was added.
A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison. A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in State Prison. Anderson was held on $200 cash bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and arraigned at arraignment at the Hillsborough Superior Court-South on Wednesday.
