Pair From Nashua Arrested On Drug Dealing Charges: Police

Tamara Batchelder was arrested on heroin charges on Monday; Shaun Doucette, a sex offender, was charged with drug sales, online identifiers.

NASHUA, NH — A registered sex offender and a Temple Street resident were arrested on numerous charges by the Nashua Police Department's Problem Oriented Policing Unit on Monday. Tamara Batchelder, 37, of Temple Street in Nashua, was arrested on June 10, 2019, on three felony counts of acts prohibited; sale of a controlled drug-heroin. Also arrested was Shaun Doucette, 42, of C Street in Nashua, on four counts of acts prohibited; sale of a controlled drug-cocaine, crack cocaine, acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate, all second offense, all felonies.

Both Batchelder and Doucette, according to Lt. Brian Kenney of the Nashua Police Department, were arrested after an investigation by the narcotics intelligence division.

During the course of the investigation, Doucette, a registered sex offender, was also charged with two counts of registration of online identifiers-second offense, both felonies. He was convicted of sexual assault in Nashua District Court in 2005 and Hillsborough County Superior Court-South in 2004. According to the state of New Hampshire, he was convicted of three counts of possession in 2000, three counts of violation of terms of probation or parole in 2005, 2006, and 2011, duty to inform in 2009 and three counts of drug dealing in 2011.

Doucette was held on $5,000 cash or surety bail.

Previously, according to posts on Patch, Batchelder was charged with two counts of criminal liability for the conduct of another related to the sale of crack cocaine in 2018. In 2016, she was charged with two counts of acts prohibited; possession of a controlled drug-crack cocaine and heroin, both felonies. She was later indicted on the crack charge.
