Hillary Clinton NH Rally to Be Held in Portsmouth

VT Sen. Bernie Sanders is expected to endorse the Democrat's presumptive presidential nominee on July 12.

The campaign will hold an “organizing event” at Portsmouth High School on Andrew Jarvis Drive in Portsmouth at 11 a.m. on July 12, 2016. Doors to the event open at 9 a.m. The general public must register ahead of time if they would like to attend.

At the event, the Democrat’s presumptive presidential nominee will “discuss her commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” according to a statement.

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, according to press reports, will endorse Clinton at the event. He told Bloomberg on Thursday that Democrats and independents “have got to do everything that we can to defeat Donald Trump and elect Hillary Clinton.”

Trump, the Republican’s presumptive nominee, held a campaign event in Manchester two weeks ago, arguing the U.S. should withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership and renegotiate NAFTA.

According to Real Clear Politics, the last head-to-head poll of New Hampshire was in late June and showed Clinton 5 percentage points ahead of Trump, with a margin of error of around 4 points. The RCP average – meaning, every poll of New Hampshire since early May – shows Clinton up by around 2.7 percent.

In all of the polling, undecided voters and/or preferences for Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and presumptive Green Party nominee Jill Stein have been anywhere from 12 to 18 percent, meaning that come November, how New Hampshire will vote is anyone’s guess.
