• Seacoast Artists Invited To Design First Night 2027 Logo For Pro Portsmouth (patch.com) — Portsmouth's nonprofit Pro Portsmouth is calling on Seacoast artists to design the official logo for First Night Portsmouth 2027, with submissions due Oct. 28. The winning artwork will be featured on buttons, merchandise, and online materials for the New Year's Eve celebration downtown, and the selected artist will receive a $300 prize. Local creators can submit scannable designs by mail or email and are encouraged to highlight Portsmouth's arts, culture, and winter festivities.
   

• Portsmouth Public Library: Adventures In Neurodivergent Parenting: Neurodiversity 101, Oct. 6 (patch.com) — Portsmouth residents are invited to learn more about neurodiversity through an upcoming program at the Portsmouth Public Library titled Adventures in Neurodivergent Parenting: Neurodiversity 101, scheduled for Oct. 6. The library-produced announcement highlights its ongoing role as a community hub for educational events and support resources for local families navigating neurodivergent experiences.
   

• Portsmouth repairs at city's oldest cemetery boosted by $240K donation (seacoastonline.com) — Portsmouth is moving ahead with a full replacement of the deteriorating Point of Graves cemetery wall, backed by $240,000 in city funds and a matching anonymous South End donation. With added support from Friends of the South End, officials plan to seek construction bids this fall and hope to start work in the spring, preserving one of the city's oldest historic sites.
