Portsmouth Police Log: Child Arrested for Throwing Rocks at Building

Mesfen A. Rowell, 26, of Brewster Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 1:48 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2015, and charged with alcoholic beverages in a park. Also arrested was Christopher Regan, 23, of Union Street in Portsmouth. He was charged with open container, alcoholic beverage in a park, and receiving stolen property. Both were arrested after police were sent to Goodwin Park for a report of men drinking.

Paula Menz, 44, of Mavis Avenue in Rochester, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. on Aug. 1, on a driving after suspension charge after a traffic stop at Greenleaf Avenue and Hillside Drive.

Charles Hugo, 45, of Perry Oliver Road in Wells, ME, was arrested at 3:36 p.m. on Aug. 1, for simple assault. He was arrested on a warrant.

A 12-year-old was arrested for criminal mischief at 9:31 p.m. on Aug. 1, after police were sent to Middle Road for a report of someone throwing rocks at the side of the building.
