Portsmouth Woman Indicted On Strangulation Charge: Superior Court

Plus: Windham man indicted on 3 theft charges; Hampton, Manchester habitual offenders indicted; other theft indictments.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Kenneth J. Patterson, 34, of Lafayette Road in Hampton on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Lafayette Road in North Hampton on Jan. 25 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Brandon Michael Perry, 30, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on a felony driving while being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Route 125 in Epping on April 25 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Cory Rae Shaheen, 27 of Park Street in Dover on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of stealing Adidas merchandise from Marshalls in Portsmouth on April 19 and Calvin Klein merchandise from Marshalls in Portsmouth on June 27.

Robert Shannon, 58, of Lowell Road in Windham on theft of services, theft by unauthorized taking, and receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of failing to pay Windham Mobil Brake and Tire for more than $1,500 worth of services, taking an Audi A6 that had parts from the store, and retaining parts from the store on Feb. 7.

Jason Jerrell Starks Jr., 21, of Clinton Street in Brockton, Massachusetts, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of working in concert with Anthony Kidd to steal between $1,000 and $1,500 worth of merchandise from Macy’s on June 8 in Salem, according to the indictment.

Daniel J. Riendeau, 60, a homeless man now located in Derry, on a possession of crack cocaine charge on Aug. 7, 2021, in Derry.

Luis A. Rivera, 43, of Skyline Drive in Lowell, MA, on a felony conspiracy to commit theft by deception, $1,501+, charge. He was accused of acting in concert with Alize Teela Tiona Woods to complete more than $1,500 worth of fraudulent returns at Charlotte Russe in Salem, where she worked, between Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, 2021, according to the indictment.

Samantha F. Schofield, 36, of Greenleaf Avenue in Portsmouth on a felony second-degree assault charge. She was accused of strangling a family member on Nov. 23, 2021, in Portsmouth.
